Hello

I try to install without success the firmware walkera 701 in interface USB II (date of manufacture Mars 07) I succeeded in activating the Bootloader function and safeguarding the modifications in interface USB II. When named window BOOTLOADER ONLINE opens, the following message posts
“Connect the USB-Interface 3 with the PC now!
If it is already connected, unplug it and reconnect it!Bootloader must be activated.”
At the same time I have one second named window “IntCon” which opens with the message “Error of execution 9: Index outside of range”

Can you help me?
Thank you

Possible, but darkangel31 has one: date of manufacture Mars 07.

I found the same problem and my stick is labelled "Mar-07". Hope that MFTech will support that problem...

Hello,

Firmware updates can be found in the forum at http://forum.mftech.de and can
be programmed by yourself with IntCon. If you have big problems with the
update, we can do that four you for free. However, you have to pay the
shipping costs to us and back to you (just include 5 EUR with the letter).

Regards
Ralf Kretschmann

whow...

I'm an embedded software engineer (working also with microcontroller and DSPs), and very familiar with firmware updates and computer software.

When trying to enter bootloader mode, I see that IntCon software crashes (the app close after error message). So I would never pay for a bug that MFTech can fix!
I'm using the version 2.2. Perhaps this bug don't appear with version 2.0 (?). But how can I download it?

I will then contact this guy about that. I'll keep you informed.

By the way, I have a WK-0701 firmware already installed on my USB stick, but I cannot make it working (the LEDs flashes, I see that the USB stick decodes some data), but the channels are really random. Also, I can't calibrate my WK-0701 (tryied with FMS and realflight).

Thanks for your message, darkangel31! If you speak french, don't hesitate to contact me with a private message. We can then discuss about that.

OK, WK-0701 is working now...
My problem was caused by the jack: I was using a mono jack, and it need a stereo jack!

Hi MX12

I cant' contact you in PM because Private messaging has been disabled on this board ...
So can you give me some information how to do ?

Thank you

In fact, my USB-Interface was not working correctly due to the signal polarity inversion. I've been able to use the ISB-Interface with a mono jack, with the polarity fixed.

About the firmware update, Ralf Kretschmann gave me a very quick response, explaining me that this error will be fixed in the next version of IntCon. This is a good news, although he doesn't specify WHEN this update will be available...

Regarding to me, as I already have the WK-0701 flashed on my USB-Interface, I can now use my USB-Interface. I will test the firmware update when the next IntCon release will be available.

About you, darkangel31, have you been able to use the USB-Interface (I mean, with a PPM radio)? How can I help you?

Regards,

Hi MX12

Yes, i can use my USB-Interface with my PPM radio.
I have a Walkera 4 ch (Dragon flight).
So, for the instance I wait the new version of Intcon.

Thank a lot of for your response.
Have a nice day.

Great!

Here are the settings I use with a WK-0701 (for your information):

- WK-0701 DIP Switches: 1, 2, 4, 7 = ON (others => OFF)
- Removing the quartz prevent battery discharge (disable the HF radio)
- Signal polarity is important: when the LED on the USB-Interface blinks @ 3-4 Hz (slow), the polarity is wrong.

I've attached the IntCon config file. Rename it to .inc as the forum doesn't allow .inc files (!).

I've used the USB-Interface with Realflight G3.5 and it works perfectly with this config.

The WK0701 firmware description notes that one button is available, I've not been able to map it (where is it on the WK-0701?). Any idea is welcome.

Enjoy your flight!
